The Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Bogura Md. Toufiqur Rahman has exchanged views with the owners of Petrol Pumps at DC’s Office conference room “Karatoa” at DC office in Bogura on Monday noon for facing jointly the problems and scarcity of petrol oil for global war condition in the middle east.
The Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Bogura Md. Toufiqur Rahman said that due to war between Israel-USA and Iran, the effect of scarcity of petrol oil is the global problem but Bangladesh is yet to face the scarcity and artificial scarcity has been made by some greedy people and so Bangladesh is yet to face any scarcity of petrol oil at present. But it is not only a challenge for the people of Bangladesh but also for the people of the globe. The district administration is not scared for the scarcity as the assosication will help them for smooth supply of petrol.
The farmers will get petrol at a priority basis for their irrigation activities and every petrol pump owner will pay heed to the national issue, urged DC of Bogura to the association of Petrollium Dealers, Distributions, Agents and Petrol Pump Owners of the district.
General Secretary of Petrollium Dealers, Distributions, Agents and Petrol Pump Owners Abdul Jalil scatched the real scnerio of the scarcity, short time problem and added that the common people have the tendency of stocking the petrol which will create pressure of the petrol oil market.
He added that no option to create abnormal scarcity of petrol in Bangladesh but the owners of petrol pumps have been feeling insecurity during the time and sought law-enforcers immediate steps to feel the owners of petrol pumps fresh.
Adviser to Petrollium Dealers, Distributions, Agents and Petrol Pump Owners and Executive Director of TMSS, Bogura, Dr. Prof. Hosne Ara emphasised on the responsibilty of the common people and the social security of the petrol pump owners of the district so that the combinedly the short time problem will be solved soon.
