Sustainable development is not possible without creative education. The students should not only be enriched with textbook-based knowledge, but also with creativity, morality and human values, only then can a developed and sustainable society be built  said Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mohammad Saiful Islam while speaking as the chief guest at the annual sports, cultural competition and award distribution ceremony of Proshika Vidyanyakan in Naogaon on Friday afternoon.

In his speech as the chief guest, the Deputy Commissioner also said that in order to survive in the competition in the current world, students must acquire multi-dimensional skills. Sports and cultural activities play an important role in the physical and mental development of students. Through this, they develop as confident and responsible citizens.

Deputy Commissioner Saiful said that the way Proshika Vidyankatan has introduced a modern, quality and diverse education system is truly commendable. Here, along with teaching, special emphasis is being given to character building and human values, which are the signs of an ideal educational institution.

Saiful Islam also said that if private initiatives come forward in this way along with the government, then positive changes in the country's education sector will be further accelerated. If this initiative of Proshika is expanded across the country, it will play an important role in improving the quality of education.

Various sports competitions, cultural performances and creative activities were held during the day-long program. Students participated spontaneously in these. Later, prizes were distributed among the winners of various competitions.

The speakers said that Proshika has launched the first Vidyaniketan in the country in Naogaon as a pilot program. The institution has already received a huge response in the area through its quality and up-to-date education system. They also said that they plan to expand such activities across the country in the future.
