Newly elected Member of Parliament from Chapainawabganj-3 (Sadar) constituency and Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka South City unit Md. Nurul Islam Bulbul has said that Chapainawabganj will be developed into a Green and Clean City in line with his election manifesto.
He made the remarks on Monday (February 23) morning while speaking to journalists after taking part in a cleanliness drive in different areas of Chapainawabganj town.
Bulbul said, “Cleanliness is not only a civic responsibility; it is a part of faith.” He urged citizens to dispose of waste in designated places and to keep the surroundings of their homes clean.
The newly elected MP added, “Such drives will be carried out regularly to keep the town clean. Through these initiatives, the town will gradually turn into a healthy, clean, and green city.”
Among others, District Ameer Abu Zar Gifari, Secretary Abu Bakar, Municipal Ameer Hafez Golam Rabbani and party leaders and activists participated in the program.
