The annual sports competition and prize distribution ceremony of BIAM Laboratory School and College-2026 was held last Wednesday.

The program was conducted by the principal of the college, Aminul Islam and Presided over by the director (deputy secretary) of BIAM Foundation Regional Center Bogura, Md Alamgir Kabir while the Chief Executive Officer of the District Council and Vice President BLSC, Md Golam Mohammad Shahnewaz spoke as the chief guest.

The chief guest highlighted the importance of co-curricular activities along with educational activities and said, “Co-curricular activities are essentially an important part of education. Students should not be limited to college and should also be involved in sports.”  To increase the importance of co-curricular activities, he further said, “Along with textbook education, sports fully support the proper development of the mind and thinking of students; this is the ideal and desirable.”

Assistant Director (Senior Assistant Secretary) of BIAM Foundation Regional Center Md Arafat Hossain, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Salma Akhter, District Education Officer Md Ramzan Ali Akand, Principal of BIAM Model School and College Md Mustafizur Rahman spoke in the function as special guest.

Principal of Nishindara Fakir Uddin School and College Md Abdul Gafur Fakir and Principal (Group Captain) of BAF Shaheen School and College Md Nowshad Fatemi spoke in the function among others.
