10 sub-branches have been inaugurated in Gaibandha district on the basis of joint venture between private development agency SKS Foundation and NRBC Commercial Bank.

NRBC Bank Chairman SM Parvez Tamal, the chief guest, inaugurated the 10 sub-branches by cutting the ribbon from the hall room of Gaibandha College Road, North Harin Singha SKS Foundation on Sunday. Bank officials and employees of 10 sub-branches were involved in the video conference at that time.

It is learned that with the approval of Bangladesh Bank, an initiative has been taken to introduce all types of banking services and provide loans to all citizens including marginal farmers, traders, small farmers, small entrepreneurs, employees at the local level. This program will be introduced in 131 branches in phases. As a part of this, in the first phase, activities of 10 branches were started in different upazilas of Gaibandha district. From now on, any customer will be able to take loans in all these branches by fulfilling the specified conditions of the bank. Also banking services include opening of personal and institutional account numbers, bank drafts, pay orders, electricity and water bills, motor vehicle fees, various government allowances, VAT withdrawals, treasury invoices and any fees / expenses incurred. All types of banking transactions including deposits, domestic and foreign money transfers, various term deposit deposits can be done.
