Some 800kgs of flood tolerance paddy seed have been distributed among 400 farmers at 22 union of 4 upazilas in Kurigram district.

Chairman of Jatrapur union council Abdul Gafurhave been formally distribution the flood tolerance paddy seeds of BRRI-52 and BRRI-93 variety at Jatrapur Union Federation office at noon on Thursday initiated by Bangladesh Trance boundary flood resilience in South Asia Project.

The female member of Jatrapur union council Shamoly,RahimuddinHaider, president of Jatrapur Federation Abdul Jabbar,Akbar Hossain were present in the distribution ceremony among others. Some 18 farmers have received such facilities and the rest farmers will be received periodically, official sources said.
