An old man died at Rajshahi Medical College (RMC) Hospital with symptoms of corona virus.

The information was confirmed by Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani, director of Ramek Hospital, on Wednesday morning.

He said no patient died of corona infection at Ramek Hospital in 24 hours. However, one died in ward 29/30 of the hospital with corona symptoms. He is a resident of Pabna district. It has been suggested to bury the body in accordance with the hygiene rules.

Meanwhile, 16 patients were admitted in the 104-bed RMC Corona unit till 9 am on Wednesday. Even a day ago this number was 18 people. At present 6 patients from Rajshahi, 2 from Chapainawabganj, 4 from Naogaon, 1 from Natore and 3 from Pabna are hospitalized.

There are 5 people admitted to the hospital with corona. 7 people are admitted with corona symptoms. 7 people were not caught in the corona. Besides, 2 people have been admitted in 24 hours. Two patients left the hospital after recovering in one day. Earlier on Tuesday, corona samples were not tested at RMC Hospital Lab.
