The people of Kahalu will be given the gift of free, fair, fair and peaceful union council general election. If anyone violates the code of conduct in the election, the presiding officer in charge should be informed immediately.

If there is no remedy in that case, let me know and I will take necessary action. Deputy Commissioner Ziaul Hoque made the remarks while addressing an exchange of views on law and order and observance of code of conduct with Kahalu Upazila Presiding Officer and contesting candidates on the occasion of the upcoming UP general elections.

Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime) Abdur Rashid,  Senior Election Officer Mahabub Alam Shah, Officer-in-Charge (OC) Amber spoke as special guests in the Upazila Parishad Hall Room under the chairmanship of Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mashudur Rahman. At the meeting, the chairman, reserved women and general member candidates expressed their views.
