At present, under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the country is moving towards development, women society is moving forward.

Women are no longer neglected; they are now becoming self-sufficient by working on their own. They are now earning a living by doing various kinds of industrial work in the space of household work and taking the helm of the world.

This was said by the Whip of the Jatiya Sangsad and Member of Parliament Abu Saeed Al Mahmud Swapan while inspecting various exporting products produced in Joypurhat.

This morning, he exchanged views with the women workers of Maa Handy Craft at Helkunda village of Sadar upazila.

District Awami League general secretary Zakir Hossain, Puranapul UP chairman Khorshed Alam Saikat, manager  of Ma Handy Craft Sabuj Hossain and other locals were present at the time.

At the same time, the Whip of Women Workers said that she would try to create more employment opportunities with all the facilities to take the women community of Joypurhat forward and also called upon small entrepreneurs like Maa Handicraft to come forward.
