With the financial support of Meghna Bank Limited and the initiative of TMSS, food items were distributed among the endangered, unemployed and poor helpless people at Aghor Malcha High School ground in Kahalu Upazila of Bogra on Thursday.

Chairman of Kahalu Upazila Parishad and Awami League leader Al Hasibul Hasan Suruj distributed food items as the chief guest. He said in his speech that people have lost their jobs due to the Corona epidemic. The government as well as non-governmental organizations will have to come forward to alleviate their suffering. In order to deal with the corona crisis, everyone has to follow the health guidelines prescribed by the government. Those who have aged should be vaccinated as per the instructions.

TMSS Director Mohammad Ali Mithu gave a welcome address at the function presided over by TMSS Life Member and Advisor Muhammad Anwarul Islam Bachchu. Shahinur Rahman, Bogra Branch Manager of Meghna Bank, Md. Harunur Rashid, OC (Investigation) of Kahalu Police Station, Md. Abu Hasan Prang, Headmaster of Aghor Malcha High School spoke as special guests. Md. Jahangir Alam, Zonal Manager of TMSS and Shaheen Mahmud, Zone Head performed the overall responsibility. The food packets distributed include 10 kg of rice, 2 kg of pulses, 5 kg of potatoes, 2 kg of turnips, 1 liter of oil, 2 kg of salt, 2 kg of onions, 3 pieces of raw soap and 1 bar of soap.
