Winter clothes distributed in Pabna

A bone-chilling winter is going on in the northern region. People are freezing in winter. There is no end to the suffering of the helpless, visually impaired, miserable people in winter, especially in the grasslands. Therefore, ManavKalyan Trust, one of Pabna’s educational institutions for the visually and physically challenged, is standing by the side of these helpless people. On January 1, 2023, under the initiative of the trust, winter clothes have been distributed among the poor and needy people.

Trust officers distributed these winter clothes among 200 poor people including poor people of the area at Charsdirajpur Private Primary School ground near Dogachi Union of PabnaSadarUpazila on Sunday.

Former Prof of traditional Pabna Government Edward College, founder director of Singa Human Welfare Trust Mohammad Abul Hossain, who won the hearts of students during his teaching career. He handed over these winter clothes to the helpless people as the chief guest. Helpless people are very happy to get winter clothes and pray to God for trust.

Vice chairman of the trust Alamgir Hossain said, this trust is managed by the donations of various people from abroad. The trust provides free education, accommodation and medical treatment to the orphans, destitute, visually impaired and physically challenged. Also, this trust is involved in various social activities. He said, with the money donated by the rich and capable people of the society, the trust helps the helpless, poor and underprivileged people of the society. A part of that is the distribution of winter clothes among the cold.

The officials of the trust expressed that more winter clothes will be distributed according to the receipt.

During the distribution of winter clothes, vice chairman of the trust Pabnacollege assistant prof. Dr. Md. Alamgir Hossain, retired principal Md. Abdul Karim, local UP ward members, Awami League leaders, school teachers and local elite persons were attendant.
