A view-exchange meeting with Journos on “The role of mass media to Build discrimination-free Bangladesh and prevent rumour” at Deputy Commissioner’s office conference room “Karatoa” in Bogura on Sunday noon.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Bogura Hosna Afroza (Joint-Secretary) was present as the chief guest and Superintendent of Police (SP) of Bogura Md. Zedan Al-Musa ppm was also present as the special guest while Deputy Principal Information Officer of Rajshahi regional information office Md. Touhiduzzaman presided over the view exchange meeting.
In the view exchange programme, at least 60 journalists from print and electronic medias of Bogura attended.
The Chief guest Hosna Afroza said that we want to build a discrimination-free Bangladesh and to fulfill our desire, the all-out supports from mass media is very important.
The mass media has some responsibilities to the society and the people of Bangladesh and they can prevent any kind of anti-state and anti-people rumour from home and abroad and to reach the country in the height of success, the bold and research-making activities of the journos for professionalism are very essential, added the DC.
Superintendent of Police (SP) of Bogura Md. Zedan Al-Musa ppm said that mass media is called the 4th pillar of the state and any kind of rumour will be prevented with the help of mess media men and the rumour makers will take under the existing law of Bangladesh.

Sohel Mia, Journalist Sabur Shah Lotus, Journalist Gonesh Das, Journalist SM Abus Said, Journalist Abdur Rahim Bogra, Journalist Mirza Selim Reza, Journalist Mominur Rashid Sain, Journalist Mohosin Ali Raju, Journalist Shafiqul Islam, Journalist Habibur Rahman Akanda, Journalist Rahat Ritu, Journalist TM Mamun and others.
