A Pabna court on Thursday sent Atghoriaupazila Juba League president AzizulGaffar and 14 others gamblers to jail who were arrested from Juba League office at Debottar Bazar of Atghoriaupazilain Pabnaat around 12.30am on Wednesday. Later, a case was filed against them and they were arrested.

The arrested are- upzilla Juba League president Azizul Gaffer, 47, Salim Hossain,38, Liton Hossain,35, Sajal Hossain,28, Ukil Ali,40, Sagar Pramanik,20, Mizan Ali,27, Abu Sayeed,37, Babul Akhtar,40, Rafiq Uddin,40, FaruqueHossain,34, Abdul Malek,30, Abdul Halim,52, Hira Hossain,35 and Raja Hossain ,35. Their homes are in different villages of Atgharia and sadarupazilas of the district.

AbdurRazzak, officer-in-charge of Atgharia police station, said that on the basis of secret information, AzizulGhaffar along 14 others, were arrested while gambling in the upazilaJubo League office at Debottar Bazar in the upazila. Tk34 thousand seven hundred in cash and gambling materials were seized from them.

A case was filed with Atgharia police station. Later they were arrested and sent to jail on Thursday through a court.
