Khamarkandi Union Parishad Chairman and Union Awami League leader Md.Abdul Momin Mohsin (55) was arrested at midnight from his residence at Karmakarpara under Sherpur town of the municipality.
The arrested Abdul Momin is the current Chairman of Khamarkandi Union Parishad No. 3 of Sherpur Upazila and Vice President of the Union Awami League.
He is the son of late Haider Ali Mandal of Jhajor village of Khamarkandi union of the upazila.
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Sherpur police station.Shafiqul Islam said” He is the accused in the case of sabotage and explosives filed at Sherpur police station on November 15.He was sent to the learned court after his arrest.
