The Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has inaugurated one mosque in KurigramSadarupazila and another at Fulbariupazila in third phase of countrywide 50 model mosques and Islamic cultural center. She has inaugurated these mosques joining virtually from Gonobhaban on Thursday.

In the inauguration of newly constructed eye catching beautiful mosque near AdarshaPoura Bazar and in front of Kurigram Fire Service and Civil Defense office  in KurigramSadarupazila MP of Kurigram-2 constituency Ponir Uddin Ahmed,Kurigram Deputy Commissioner Mohammad SaidulArif, president of Kurigram district unit of AL and ZilaParishadchairman (former MP) Alhaj Mohammad Jafar Ali,Mayor of Kurigram municipality Mohammad KaziulIslam,Principal of Kurigram Govt. College MirzaNashirUddin,Principal of Kurigram Law College and eminent lawyer SM Abraham Lincoln, Sadar UNO Rasedul Islam, ASP of Nageswari circle Sumon Reza, were present among others.

On the other hand another model mosque constructed in upazila complex area was also virtually inaugurated.

The air conditioned mosques and Islamic cultural center were constructed at a cost of around Taka 13 crore where Ujukhana and prayer rooms are separated. In addition, there areregistration facilities for holy Hajj goers and training system, Imam Training Center, Research Center and Library, Hefzokhana,pre-primaryeducation and Learning of Holy Quaran and assemble facilities.
