Two people have been killed on the spot and another person fell into the water and went missing after losing control of a high-speed motorcycle and crashing into the pole of Bailey Bridge under Sherpur upazila of Bogura district.
The mishap took place at Shalfa Bailey bridge area of Khanpur Union at 6:30 pm today (February 10).Initially, the names of the injured and dead were not found while reporting the news.
Accourding to local in the afternoon three youths on a motorcycle went for a trip from Sherpur to Dhunot upazila of Bogura.
On their way back home from there, when they reached Shalfa bridge area in the evening, came in front of the bridge, lost control and collided with the pole of the bridge and twisted severely.
At that time, three youths fell from the motorcycle and two were killed on the spot. One fell into the water and one is seriously injured on the road.
Later the local saw and informed the fire service. The injured person said, “We were three people on the motorcycle. But one cannot be found. It is initially thought that he may have fallen into the water and gone missing.”
After getting the information about this, Sub Officer Siddiqur Rahman of Fire Service rushed to the spot and rescued the dead and injured and took them to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital.
