A two-day workshop on document management was inaugurated at Pabna University of Science and Technology (PUST).

PUST vice-chancellor Prof Dr. Hafiza Khatun inaugurated the e-document in the lab of Computer Science and Engineering Department of the University at around 9am on Saturday.

Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Hafiza Khatun as the chief guest while pro-vice-chancellor Prof SM Mostafa Kamal Khan as the special guest at the opening ceremony.

According to a press release issued by the Public Relations Department of the University, the inaugural function of the workshop was presided over by the director of the institutional quality assurance cell Prof Dr. Khairul Alam.

Dr. Mohammad Ziaul Islam trained as a resource person in the department of research and consultancy of the Bangladesh public administration training center.

Dr. Abdur Rahim,chairman of the department of computer science and engineering as a guest was present at the inaugural function.

VC Hafiza Khatun, in her brief speech at the inaugural function, said that e-document is a method by which information can be easily transferred. As a result, the work can be performed quickly and easily. She said that to move the university forward, we need to work together so that we can be a model to others.

Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof SM Mostafa Kamal Khan said that the university should be taken forward with the joint efforts of all with it in mind.

Some thirty officials are participating in the training.
