A case has been registered in Pabna in connection with the creation of fake birth certificate in the name of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. At the same time, a show cause notice has been given to the acting chairman and secretary of Ahmedpurunion parishad of Sujanagar upazila.

Apart from this, a committee of three members has been formed headed by deputy director of local government department Saifur Rahman to investigate the incident. The district administration took these steps on Thursday night.

A case was registered with Aminpur police station naming Ahmedpurunion parishad computer operator Niloy Parvez Eamon accused in registration fraud and accusing three unidentified persons as accused.

UP member and panel number-2 Fatema Begum filed the case as plaintiff on Thursday night. Aminpurpolice station officer-in-Charge Harunur Rashid confirmed the case and said that the police have started investigating the matter.

According to the district administration sources, the district administration was embarrassed by widespread discussion and criticism after the issue of creating a fake birth certificate in the name of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was published in the media.

On Thursday night, a three-member investigation committee headed by Saifur Rahman, deputy director of the local government department, was formed. At the same time, Ahmedpur UP acting chairman Abdur Rauf Molla and secretary Awlad Hasan have been given a show cause notice to know how the birth certificate was prepared.

Pabna deputy commissioner Mohammad Asaduzzaman said, “The incident is very touching.” We are taking the matter seriously. The inquiry committee has been asked to submit its report within the next three working days. After getting the investigation report, legal action will be taken later.

Recently a birth certificate of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was produced from Ahmedpur UP of Sujanagar Upazila. The birth certificate was on the server till Thursday morning. The birth certificate was no longer available on the server since noon after the matter came to light.

In the photo of the birth certificate circulating on social media, the name of the person registered is Justin Trudeau. Place of birth is Pabna. Born on December 25, 1971. Mother’s name is Margaret Trudeau, mother’s nationality is Bangladeshi. Father’s name is Pierre Trudeau, father’s nationality is also Bangladeshi.

UP’s computer operator Niloy Hossain was alleged to have created the fake certificate in exchange of money. Niloy Parvez has been absconding ever since the news broke.
