The Tree Plantation on Zila Parishad road was inaugurated at 11.00am on Thursday (October 20).

The plantation activities begins from Roumari Dakbanglow towards Dantbhanga road where Roumari upazila chairman(acting) Mahmuda Akhtar Smriti was present as the chief guest while upazila vice chairman Mozaffar Hossain was the special guest inaugurated the Tree Plantation activities. Various kinds of plants including fruits, timber and medicinal plants are being planted on the road. Surveyor of Zila Parishad and other staff and local elites were also present.

Sources concerned said a total of 2000 sapling are being planted.
