Cheque handed over to ensure MBBS admission in Bogura

Tk 50000 has been handed over to ensure MBBS admission on behalf of Prime Minister in Bogura on Wednesday.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Md Saiful Islam handed over the cheque to  Nazira who got chance in MBBS from very needy family. DC also ensures her seat in hostel and other necessary assistance. Sadar upazila Nirbahi officer (UNO) Firoza Parvin and assistant commissioner Nahian Moonsif were present.

News has been published titled barber worried to admit his daughter in medical college due to financial crisis in Bogura.

It is known that Nazira, daughter of day poor barber of Nazrul Islam and housewife Halima Begum at Fakirpara village of Erulia union of sadar upazila in Bogura, got a chance in medical school has passed the first year MBBS entrance examination for the academic year 2022-23. Sh got chance in Sylhet Osmani Medical College with 1 thousand 568th positions.

According to Nazira Sultana’s family sources, she was an indomitable talent since childhood. In 2020, Nazira got admission in Bogura Govt. Mujibur Rahman Women’s College after getting GPA-5 in SSC examination from Chaipukuria High School. From there she passed the HSC examination in 2022 with GPA-5.

Nazira Sultana’s mother Halima Begum said that Nazira is the elder of her two daughters. She was very interested in studies since her childhood. SSeeing their daughter’s interest, they spent money by working hard on her education.

Halima Begum also said, today I got the result of that suffering by the mercy of Almighty Allah. I feel very happy, very happy. I suffered a lot with Nazira. Today, when she got a chance in medicine, that pain is no more. But now I am worried. How will the cost of going to Sylhet to study? She seeks the cooperation of all for her daughter’s education and further cooperation.

Nazira’s father, Nazrul Islam, said, “I am filled with pride that the child of a poor father like me has got the opportunity to get admission in the medical college. It is not less than my father’s concern to express such excitement.”

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Md Saiful Islam said “We will help to brilliant students but their financial condition is poor.”
