The teachers of Bogura BIAM Model School and College demanded soon nationlisation of the institution through a press briefing at Press Club in Bogura on Friday noon.

The teachers briefed that like 11 Model educational institution in Bogura, Bogura Model School and College was established on August 21, 2003 during the tenure of the then Prime Minister of Bangladesh Begum Khaleda Zia at Nishindhara area in Bogura.

Later her elder son Tarique Rahman inaugurated the educational institution on June 26, 2005 and after inauguration, the institution has been spreading the light of education in the area as the model and best institution but later unfortunately, out of 11 institutions 2 Model school and college including Bogura Model School and College took under BIAM (Bangladesh Institute of Administration and Management) Foundation in exchange of huge some of money from the institute’s fund which deprives the teachers and employees, added the press briefing.

The briefing also added that on April 26, 2016, the Ministry of Education sought all out papers from the Principal of Bogura BIAM Model School and College for the process of nationalization but he did not send them and consequently, an order was passed on September 18, 2017 for the nationalization declining Bogura BIAM Model School and College which deprived the teachers and employees of the institution.

So, the press briefing demanded soon the declaration of nationalization of the institution and otherwise, they will take tougher programme to fulfill their rightful demands.
