Rafiqul Islam, 45, a supporter of UP candidate Abul Kalam Azad, is undergoing treatment at a hospital of Sherpur upazila of Bogura of Garhidaha Union constituency on Saturday night (December 25).
A written complaint has been lodged of injured brother against Mostafa (48),Zahidul Islam(30),Sohorab Hossain(50),Bipu(25),Dulal Hosain(50),Obidul Haque(50),Ayub Ali (42) at Sherpur Police Station in this connection.
According to the complaint, Abul Kalam Azad, son of late Isharat Ali of Kafura village is contesting for the post of UP member in ward no. 9 On the day of submission of nomination forms, the opponent Abdul Mannan (football symbol) and his supporters from the same village are coming with various threat.
