A mobile court has arrested six people for cannabis seller under Adamdighi upzila in Bogura and sentenced them to two days imprisonment and fined them Tk 100.

Police arrested them while they were consuming cannabis at Faisal’s house in Daharpur village on Wednesday night. The six were later ordered by the mobile court’s executive magistrate and upazila executive officer Sraboni Roy.

According to the mobile court, a group of people were consuming cannabis at Faisal’s house in Daharpur village near Adamdighi-Chhatiangram road on Wednesday night. On the basis of such secret information, the police conducted an operation and arrested the cannabis eater.

Ali Hossain, son of Ahmed Ali of Daharpur village in Adamdighi, Rezaul Karim, son of Mojibur Rahman of the same village, Faisal, son of Zakirul Islam, Abu Hasan, son of Afzal Hossain, Moinul Haque, son of Abdus Samad and Nayan Hossain, son of Dulal Hossain were arrested by the mobile court on Thursday morning. He was sentenced to two days imprisonment without pay and fined 100 rupees.
