Inspector General of Police (IGP) of Bangladesh Police Chowdhury Abdullah Al- Mamun bpm (bar), ppm has nominated as the best district holding 1^st position as arrest order implementation district under Rajshahi Range.

The IGP declared the name of the district from special crime conference held at Padma Conference Room of Rajshahi Range office on Wednesday afternoon.

Out of 8 districts, for implementing arrest order, Sirajgonj district secured the first position and Officer-in-charge (OC) of Sirajgonj sadar police station becomes the best OC under Range.

After declaring the evaluation result, the Superintendent of Police (SP) of Sirajgonj Md. Arifur Rahman Mondal bpm (bar), ppm (bar) and OC sadar Sirajgonj Humayun Kabir received the crests from the hands of IGP and other valued guests in the colourful programme.

During the proramme, Additional IGP (Crime and Operations) of Bangladesh Police Md. Atiqul Islam bpm (bar), ppm (bar), DIG Rajshahi Range Md. Abdul Baten bpm, ppm, Police Commissioner of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police Md. Anisur Rahman bpm (bar), ppm (bar) and other high official of Range office and other SPs’ under the same range.

Superintendent of Police (SP) of Sirajgonj Md Arifur Rahman Mondal bpm (bar), ppm (bar) said that all proud members of the district police are absolutely committed and determined to make Sirajgonj district as crime free zone implementing public-friendly policing system.
