Senior Journalist of Bogura and former President of Journalist Union of Bogura (JUB) and life-term member of Islamic Studies Group of Bogura Syed Fazle Rabbi Dollar has been elected as the member of Executive Committee of Islamic Studies Group for 8^th times in Bogura on Saturday.

Out of 409 voters, 325 votes of the Islamic Studies Group have cast their votes among them and he bagged 183 votes and secured 4^th position among 12 elected members of the committee on the basis of casting votes and he has been playing vital role from 2004 till today becoming elected member of the committee.

The triennial (1446-1448 Hijri year) election was held among two groups of total 34 aspirants and among them, 18 persons were elected from them for the executive body like two-Vice-presidents, Secretary, two Joint-secretaries, Treasurer, and 12 members.

The Deputy Commissioner of Bogura will be the president of the executive committee for his or her position in the district. It is noted that the research centre was established by multi-lingual personality Dr. Muhammad Shahidullah in 1948 in Bogura.
