A school boy while driving a motor bike lost control and hit with a road side tree and was killed on the spot near Senai bazar under Rajarharupazila in Kurigram at around 10.00 pm on EidDay (Saturday).

The deceased was identified as Md. Sohoban 15 son of Lipton Bepariof village Roypurand his mother Sima Begum is a member of Kathalbari union council in the district.He was also a student of class nine of Kurigram Govt. high school.

Locals and family sources said that Soboban along with his two associates were going to Senai from Dasherhat bazar riding a motor bike for travelling. When they reached near Senai bazar the bike driver lost control and hit the bike with a road side tree. The driver of the bike was killed on the spot. Later locals recovered the dead body and brought to his house.

The body was however buried in his family graveyard at 9.00pm on Sunday, his grandfather Abdul Haque a former member of KurigramZlaParishad ensured the news.

Officer-in-charge of Rajarhat police station AbdullaheelJaman admitted the incident.
