On Tuesday (February 23, 2021), the operation team of RAB-12 conducted several operations in Sirajganj Shahjadpur area throughout the day.

1. Md. Habibur Rahman (22), father-Abdul Quddus Sheikh, Sang-Chhota Baira, Thana-Shahjadpur, Sales Manager (Messrs. Tanklery Filling Station) were fined Tk 1 lakh for various irregularities.

2. Mr. Liton Kumar Ghosh (31), father Mr. Parash Chandra Ghosh, Sang-Porjana, Thana-Shahjadpur were fined Tk. 25,000 for producing and selling counterfeit cheese.

3. Md. Emdadul Haque Nowshad (54), father Haji Mohammad Hazrat Ali, Sang-Tanitia, Thana-Shahjadpur, (Messrs. Nova Enterprise) were fined Tk 10,000 for producing and selling fake ghee.

In the presence of Executive Magistrates of the mobile court Mr. Moin Uddin (A-Zone, Sirajganj) and Upal Kumar, Inspector (Metrology) BSTI Divisional Office Rajshahi and Muhammad Mohiuddin Miraj, Assistant Superintendent of Police (RAB-12) reviewed the overall issues in collaboration with RAB. Ordered a fine of Rs. 1,35,000 / – to 03 companies.
