Martyrs' Day and International Mother

Martyrs' Day and International Mother Language Day were celebrated with due dignity and solemnity in Kurigram. On the occasion of the day, in the first hour of Saturday (12:01), Deputy Commissioner Annapurna Debnath, Superintendent of Police KhandakerFazle Rabbi, PPM, laid wreaths at the Kurigram Central ShahidMinar in humble tribute to the memory of the language martyrs. In addition, MuktijoddhaSangsad, District BNP, JatiyaNagorik Party, Kurigram Press Club and various political, social, cultural organizations, government and non-government departments, and educational institutions laid wreaths at the ShahidMinar in humble tribute to the memory of the language martyrs. Later, after observing a minute of silence in memory of the martyrs, prayers were held for the forgiveness of the departed souls of the martyrs.
