The 103 birth anniversary and National Children Day were observed through different arrangements like offering floral wreaths, children and rejoice rally, and 103 Kg cake cutting in Bogura Friday morning.

The district administration, Police administration, district unit Awami League and other social, cultural and other organisations have observed the day through different arrangements.

After offering floral wreaths to the epitome of the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in DC office premise, a colourful children and rejoice rally was brought in the roads and a big cake weighted 103 Kg was cut at Bogra Zilla School Auditorium which were arranged by Bogura district administration.

During the programmes, Lawmaker of Bogura-06 constituency and General Secretary of district unit Awami league Ragebul Ahsan Ripu, President of district unit Awami league Mojibur Rahman Mojnu, Deputy Commissioner of Bogura Md. Saiful islam, Deputy Director (Local Government) Masum Ali Beg, ADC (Revenue) Uzzal Kumar Ghosh, ADC (ICT and Education) Nilufa Yesmin, Freedom Fighters, children of different ages and other professionals were present in the arrangements.

Besides, Sweetmeats and toys were distributed among the children of the child ward of Mohammad Ali Hospital in Bogura while Civil Surgeon of Bogura Dr. Shafiul Azam, Superintendent (Deputy Director) of Mohammad Ali Hospital Dr. Nuruzzaman Shoncoy, the consultant of child ward of the hospital Dr. Sharmin Afrose, Dr. Anika Tahsin and others.

District unit Awami League hoisted national and party flags early in the morning and a discussion on the day was also held at the party office at Shatmatha and the whole programme was presided over by the President of district unit Awami league Mojibur Rahman Mojnu.

Local Lawmaker and General Secretary of district unit Awami league Ragebul Ahsan Ripu, Awami league senior leader Advocate Abdul Motin, Joint Secretary T. Zaman Niketa, Joint-Secretary AKM Asadur Rahman Dulu, Organising Secretary Principal Shahadat Hossain Zunu, Awami League leader Adv. Zakir Hossain Nabab were present simultaneously.

A discussion on the day and cultural programmne were also arranged at Mujib Moncha at Shatmatha in Bogura too.
