Passing out final parade of 166th TRC batch held at Bogura APBn

Uttering the slogan “No job, but Service” The passing out final parade of 166th Trainee Recruit Constables (TRC) was held at the parade ground of 4-Armed Police Battalion (APBn) at Nishindhara in Bogura on Sunday morning.

As an attached training center under Bangladesh Police Academy, Sharda, Rajshahi, 4-APBn has been conducting the training for the trainee recruit constables for long time.

Additional Inspector General (T & IM) of Bangladesh Police Headquarters Y.M Belalur Rahman bpm (voluntary), ndc was present as the chief guest and the Commanding Officer (CO) of 4-Armed Police Battalion (APBn), Bogura and Additional DIG of Bangladesh Police Md. Abdur Razzak presided over the whole parade programme.

The high officials of 16 districts of administration and police administration, members of civil society, representatives of different departments of the district, media personalities of Bogura, the relatives of the out-going TRCs were eyed and enjoyed the colourful parade.

APBn sources said that after getting 6-month long training, 314 Constables will join in their respective units under Bangladesh Police of Bangladesh so that they can extend their service to the people of Bangladesh.

After reaching in the parade ground, the chief guest was greeted with salute by the parade commander and the out-going TRCs. Later, the Addl. IGP visited parade, took salute from the TRCs, distributed crests for excellent performance in training and the oath-taking for the TRCs was also held during the parade and finally, the parade was ended with uttering the national slogan.

The chief guest in his speech said that the police had a prominent role in the independent war in 1971, in the history of Bangladesh and he emphasized on the skill development of the police members so that they can extend utmost service to the people of Bangladesh. He mentioned the fair appointment system of the newly recruited members of Bangladesh Police.
