Farewell meeting of journalists was held with outgoing police commissioner of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police, Md Abu Kalam Siddique.

On Monday (December 26), a farewell meeting of the Police Commissioner with journalists was organized at Rajshahi Metropolitan Police Headquarters conference room at 11 am.

On the occasion, the Commissioner of Police told the journalists, since joining Rajshahi Metropolitan Police as Commissioner last (September 10, 2020), I have worked tirelessly to make Rajshahi Metropolitan Police modern and up-to-date and to deliver police services to the doorsteps of Tilottama Metropolis Rajshahi residents.

You have helped me in this work with your thoughtful opinions. In view of your demands, RMP Cyber Crime Unit has been established in Rajshahi, which is benefiting the people of this region.

He also said that to make the role of police in the Liberation War unforgettable, the Police Liberation War Memorial Museum has been set up in Rajshahi Metropolitan Police Lines, Rajshahi. A book titled “Rajshahi Police in Liberation War” has been published, which will be a milestone in the history of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police.

Meanwhile, the journalists of Rajshahi expressed their feelings about the multifaceted activities of the police commissioner. Apart from making the Rajshahi metropolis a safe city, Bhai also appreciated and remembered him with gratitude for his humanitarian and social activities. They wished the Commissioner of Police success in his future career and personal life.
