The mystery of the murder of Md Samiul (10) in Shajahanpur of Bogura has been revealed.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Sudip Kumar Chakraborty confirmed the information to the reporter at his office at 11:30 am on Wednesday through a press briefing.

SP said that after rescuing the body of child Samiul yesterday, the police went to the field to unravel the mystery. Police came to know Fazlul Haque, second husband of Samuel’s mother, is killer.

Police recovered the body and sent it to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital for postmortem. Fazlul Haque and his accomplice Anita Rani were arrested in this connection.

Police said the accused would be remanded in court for seven days to gather more information on whether anyone else was involved in the murder.
