Teachers are returning house rent and medical allowances to the government treasury! Md. Aminur Rahman, Lecturer in Chemistry of Chandapasha High School and College, Babuganj, Barisal, returned the medical allowance of Tk. 500 as nongovernment MPO listed teacher to the Director General, Department of Secondary and Higher Education, Dhaka. The others are Md. Rashidul Alam, Headmaster, Saral Khan High School, Sadhpukur, Aditmari under Lalmonirhat District.

Md. Rafiqul Hasan Russell, Assistant Teacher, K. VN High School Haimchar, Chandpur. He returned Tk.1000 (one thousand) of house rent to the government treasury.

On the other hand, the teachers’ society considers it unreasonable to pay Tk.1000 (one thousand) as house rent and Tk.500 (five hundred) medical allowance along with the basic salary of the nongovernment MPO listed teachers.There is a long-standing resentment in the teachers’ society due to house rent and medical allowances.The teachers’ society thinks that the government will solve the housing and medical allowances of the nongovernment  MPO listed teachers as fast as other employees.
Nongovernment  MPO listed teachers are voluntarily returning the money of these two sectors to the government treasury.This news continues to spread through social media.
