Moonmoon Sen, daughter of the legendary heroine of the subcontinent, Suchitra Sen, has expressed her interest in being the chief advisor of Pabna’s Suchitra Sen Smriti Preservation Parishad.
Pabna Suchitra Sen memorial parishad’s general secretary on Monday.Naresh Madhu confirmed this information. He said, “During a WhatsApp conversation on Monday afternoon, Suchitra Sen invited Moonmoon Sen to join as the chief advisor of the Smriti Preservation Parishad.”
Moonmoon Sen confirmed his association with the parishad through a message on his invitation. Suchitra Sen’s daughter Moonmoon Sen is a Bengali and Indian actress.
She is known for acting in Bengali, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi and Kannada films.She has also acted in Bollywood movies. In 1987, she won the Andhra Pradesh Nandi Best Supporting Actress Award for her performance in the film Sirivennella.
Moonmoon Sen started her acting career after marriage and motherhood.She made his debut in the movie world in 1984 with the movie ‘Andar Bahar’.She has shown his bravery by playing many roles.Apart from serial dramas on television, she has also worked in some Bengali telefilms.
Moonmoon Sen married the heir to the royal family of Tripura State in 1978.She is the mother of two daughters.They are actress Raima Sen and Rhea Sen.
Parishad’s acting president Dr. Ramdulal Bhowmik and general secretary Dr.Naresh Madhu congratulated Moonmoon Sen on behalf of the parishad said, “This is undoubtedly good news for us.”
Moonmoon Sen has already donated sarees, books and a photograph used by her mother Suchitra Sen to the Parishad.She promised to help protect the memory of Suchitra Sen.
