The Bangladesh Dairy Farmers Association is implementing this mobile market project in collaboration with the Livestock and Dairy Development Project under the management of the District Livestock Department.

According to the district livestock department, the mobile market has been set up so that the damaged farm produce can be easily sold and buyers can buy these items at low prices during Ramadan and Corona situations and keep the market under control. Every day 6 mobile shops in the district headquarters and 1 in the rest of the upazilas will sell frozen meat of milk, eggs, chicken and beef.

District Livestock Officer Dr Mahfuzar Rahman said the initiative was taken so that farmers would not be affected by the Corona situation and no one could manipulate the prices of these products by creating an artificial crisis by manipulating them on the occasion of Ramadan. These products will be brought directly from the farm through this market.
