On important aspects of Geographical Maps and Uses Pabna University of Science and Technology (PUST)Prof. DrHafizaKhatun, said in a series of lectures titled ‘Viewing the World through a Geographical Lens “Maps related to geography and use, features, disaster management, climate change should be given more attention,” She made several points of inquiry in the context of geography including economic development and planning, water, communication.

On Monday, the first lecture  organised by the Geography and Environment Association, chairman of the lecture department Dr. Md. Rahidul Islam, teacher Dr. Mohammad Nazmul Islam were also presented. All the teachers of different departments and students of different batches participated in the lecture programme.

`Lectures Series‘will be held at various times continuing by expert academicians on geography and environment.
