KurigramAwami Leaguehas formally distributed blankets among cold hit poor people on behalf of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in central ShahidMinar premises at noon on Wednesday.

General Secretary of Kurigram district unit of Awami League and chairman of KurigramSadarupazilaParishadAman Uddin Ahmed Monju,vice president Akbar Hossain,joint secretary Obaidur Rahman,organizing secretary RasheduzzamanBabu,AL leader Mamunur Rashid,Shahnaz Begum Naszu,Babla Ghosh, former secretary of Kurigram Press club and eminent journalist KhandokerAtaur Rahman Biplob, and Obaidul Islam Mithu were present among others in the blanket distributing ceremony.

More than six hundred blankets have been distributed among cold hit poor people who come from various places of Kurigramsadarupazila.

These blankets have been being distributed among poor and cold hit poor people on behalf of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the whole country. It is also distributed as the part of that distribution.
