The election to the executive committee of Islamic University Reporters Unity will be held on the campus in Kushtia on Monday.
A total of 6 candidates will vie for president and secretary post, confirmed Chief Election-Commissioner Prof Dr. Shelina Nasrin to Daily Asia on Wednesday.
She said the election would be held at the Reporters Unity office in the TSCC building from 11 am to 12 pm. The president and general secretary candidates took nominations in a festive atmosphere. I hope the election will be completed properly, she added.
