Later, the leaders of Kshatmazur Samiti gave a memorandum to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina through Upazila Nirbahi Officer stating the same demand. It called for the implementation of eight-point demands.
Speakers in the program said that special allocation should be given in the national budget to improve the quality of life of farm workers. Ration should be introduced in villages and towns, job guarantee, pension allowance should be introduced for 60-year-olds along with fair wages. Sending farm laborers abroad for free training and providing 100 days of work. A minimum wage of 800 taka per day should be fixed along with allocation of government special land among the real landless. The quality of treatment in local hospitals should be improved. So that all diseases can be treated. Above all, these speakers strongly demanded the constitutional recognition of tribal farm workers.
