Hong Kong Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) has signed an agreement on social credit with TMSS to alleviate various social problems and challenges.

The agreement was signed on behalf of both the organizations by Jisan Shamsad, Executive Vice President for HSBC and founding executive director Prof. Dr. A.S. Hosne Ara Begum formally at Momo INN on Tuesday evening.

CEO of HSBC Bank Md Mahbub Ur Rahman said, “HSBC conducts these lending activities worldwide under the Social Debt Policy.”  “HSBC Worldwide provides funding for green economy, green employment, and protection of green environment.” He added.

A multimedia presentation was made on the occasion highlighting different aspects of both the organizations. HSBC has inaugurated an oxygen plant at TMSS Medical College and Rafatullah Community Hospital Thengamara to serve the patients. Apart from this, they also visited various activities of TMSS in Bogura including micro loans.
