Hero Alam, neutral candidate, rejected the results of the by-election of Bogura-4 (Kahalu-Nandigram) constituency, alleging that the voting was not fair.

He said that he has been wronged and filed a writ in the court seeking annulment of the result. He said this in a press conference organized at his residence in Erulia of Sadar Upazila around 10:30 pm last Wednesday.

In the press conference, Hero Alam said that the polling environment in the by-elections was good. But when the results were announced in Nandigram, there were doubts. Because they announced the results of 39 centers out of 49 centers consecutively. Later the results of the remaining 10 centers were declared at one time without declaring the results separately. Why was it done?
