Fresher’s reception, farewell of the HSC’23 examinees and dowa Mahfil for the land donor of Kahaloo Adarsha Women’s Degree College (KAWDC) under Kahaloo upazila in Bogura on Sunday noon.
The president of the governing body of the college Principal (Retd) Tayeb Ali presided over the programme while the Chairman of Kahaloo Upazila Parishad Al-Hasibul Hasan Shuruj was present as the chief guest.
Special guests were vice-chairmen of the parishad: Abdur Rashid Lalu and Rowshan Aktar, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kahaloo police station Mahmud Hasan, Upazila secondary education officer Md. Motahar Hossain.
Headmasters, former teachers of the high schools of the surrounding areas of the upazila, guardians and journalists were present in the programme.
The students of the first year were greeted with the bunch of flowers, HSC’23 examinees were given farewell with flower and educational materials and dowa mahfil for the departed soul of land owner of the college late Abdul Latif was also held in the programme.
The speakers suggested the students to be sincere about their studies and they have to be aware about the misuse of the social media and the examinees should keep concentration on the time management and have to make ready to their education equipments in the examination hall and should answer all the questions.
The Principal of the college AKM Rezaul Akhlak delivered his welcome speech and Assistant Professor in English Mamun-ur-Rashid conducted the whole programme and earlier, a grand display by the students were held in the campus of the college.
