A farmer died of snake bite when he was going to latrine in his house at Lalachamar Char under Austormirchar union of Chilmariupazila in Kurigram early hours on Saturday (April 20).

The deceased was identified as Azam Ali 35 son of MazammelHaque of the area.

Locals and eyewitnesses said when he was going to the latrine for respond of the natural call early hours on Saturday.At that time it was dark causing on the way a poisonous snake bite on his leg. He was shouting loudly. The inmates and villagers came ahead and recovered him and immediately sent to Chilmariupazila Health Complex in a critical condition where the attending doctor declared him dead.
