To implement government to people (G to P) service, Electronic Fund Transferring (EFT) will boost a smooth service amid elderly allowance, widow and husband abuse women allowance and disabled people in Bogura.
According to District Social Service Office (DSSO) a total 1, 93,081 people have been paid government assistance through bank account but present government took initiative to transfer money with Nagad, a reliable money transferring system.
Meanwhile, the officials of district social service have already opened a total 1, 47,730 accounts through mobile with Nagad till 4 March and rest of the work will be performed within very short time.
The ‘Elderly Allowance’ program was introduced to provide social security and increase the status of the elderly and the underprivileged in the country.
In order to bring more momentum in the implementation of the widow and husband abuse women allowance program, the present government has re-assigned this program to the Ministry of Social Welfare. The Department of Social Services is successfully implementing this program initiated by the present government.
To make it universally acceptable are to update the implementation policy formulated by the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs Involvement of local honorable members of parliament and other people’s representatives in the election, taking initiative to prepare a database.
The Ministry of Social Welfare has been implementing this program for the development of the burnt and disabled people of the country. In order to ensure the active participation of the burnt and disabled people in the economic development activities of the country, this program is being implemented through the Department of Social Services under the control of the Ministry of Social Welfare.
Deputy Director of Department of Social Service Abu Sayed Md Kawser Rahman said they are trying to implement government EFT service by opening Nagad apps. They are hoping to implement government digitalized promise very soon, DD added.
