The mystery of the death of a housewife remains unearthed at Kicok Dhopapur area under Shibgonj upazila in Bogura on early Saturday.

She was killed by the unidentified killer or she committed suicide by herself and the matter is still not settled by the investigation in the district and it causes mystery among the people of the area and among the relatives of the deceased.

The victim housewife was identified as Lima Begum, 33, wife of day labourer Masud Mia of Kicok Dhopapur areaunder Shibgonj upazila in Bogura.

Shukur Ali, OC of Shibgonj police station said that after getting information, police rushed to the spot and the dead body was sent to the morgue of Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College and Hospital in Bogura.

Victim’s family members alleged that her drug addicted husband Masud himself killed her and fled the scene as he married another three women after Lima’s marriage and he threatened to kill her over phone on Friday afternoon.

Contacted, Shukur Ali, OC of Shibgonj police station said her hanging dead body with the sign of physical torture was recovered and the cause of her death will be clear to the law-enforcers after getting the autopsy report from SZMCH in Bogura.
