The Deputy Commissioner of Rangpur handed over humanitarian aid to the members of the Hijra community
Humanitarian assistance has been provided to the helpless transgender people affected by the Corona.

Deputy Commissioner Md Asib Ahsan handed over the humanitarian assistance of Hon’ble Prime Minister to 170 members of Hijra community in different areas of Rangpur metropolis.

The assistance was conducted  on Wednesday  at the Rangpur District School premises.

Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Md Asib Ahsan said, “170 members of the Hijra community of Rangpur metropolis have been provided financial assistance of Tk 500 today.

Chief Executive Officer of Rangpur City Corporation Md Ruhul Amin Miah, Additional Deputy Commissioner (general) Md Golam Rabbani and other officials were present.
