A orphan children’s safe and modern home conducted by a voluntary and benevolent organization of Bogura district Moonlight Development Society was inaugurated in the town.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Bogura and the chief guest of the programme Md. Ziaul Hoque inaugurated the home for the children by cutting ribbon at Nataipara area in Bogura town on Thursday afternoon.
The inauguration programme was presided over by the president of the humane organization Zannatul Bakiya Moonmoon.
Special guests were Deputy Director of the department of social service Abu Sayeed Md. Kawsar Rahman, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer (UHFPO) of sadar upazila Dr. Samir Hossain Mishu, General Secretary of Bogura Press Club Arif Rehman, Adviser of the organisation Md. Anamul Haque, Consultant of the organization Lamiha Haque, Coordinator Shahidul Islam Tushar, Residential Student Sraboni Akhter and others.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Bogura Md. Ziaul Hoque said that the present government has been working hard to ensure hunger and poverty free Bangladesh and to improve the lifestyle and standard of the people of the country.
The rich people of the country have to stand beside the helpless and deprived people along with the government support and the Moonlight has been playing an important role in conducting such home for the orphan children so that they can be humane personality, added the DC.
Later the Deputy Commissioner (DC) visited the infrastructure of the home and talked with the orphan children of the home.
