Bus-hit killed two cattle Trader-brothers in Bogura

Two cattle traders were killed from a bus-hit at Omrapuri area on Bogura-Rangpur highway of Chandihara village in Shibgonj upazila in Bogura on Thursday afternoon.

The deceased were identified as Abul Kashem, 50, son of late Mozahar Ali and Zahidul Islam,62, son of late Foyej Uddin of Chokpara rea under Mokamtola under Shibgonj upazila in Bogura district and they were cousin in relation.

Contacted, In-Charge (IC) of Mokamtola Police Outpost Inspector Ashik Ikbal confirmed that two brothers along with few cows were escorted by a shallow-machine run three-wheeler and a bus from the same location hit the three-wheeler from the back side and they fell from the vehicle and were killed them in the same location and the bus fled instantly.

Contacted, Abbas Ali, Officer-in Charge (OC) of Kundarhat Highway Police Station of Nandigram in Bogura district said that the dead bodies were recovered from the Place of Occurrence (PO) and they were handed over to the relatives of the deceased after legal procedures and the cause of the accident is yet to be found out and it would be clear after investigation.
