A mobile court of BSTI was conducted under Kahalu Upazila of Bogura district and find Tk 2 lakh on Wednesday afternoon under weight and measure verification and product packaging and quality control act.

It is known that during the operation, the underground storage tank of MS Rokeya filling station in Kaliapukur area did not have an up-to-date certificate and the 5 dispensing units of diesel, petrol and octane were given less than 320 ml, 300 ml, 330 ml, 390 ml and 270 ml per 10 liters as per the Weights and Measures Standards Act, 2018.

The court was conducted by the upazila nirbahi officer of Kahalu upazila Mst Marina Afroz. Inspector (Mt.) of BSTI and Prosecutor Officer Md Shah Alam Palash Khan and Field Officer (CM) Mesbah Ul Hasan were present.

UNO  said such operations will continue in the public interest of the consumers of the district.
