Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Bogura Md. Saiful Islam has handed over a rickshaw to a life-term convicted person as part of rehabiliatation at DC office in Bogura on Sunday noon.

District Social Service Office has provided the rickshaw to the convicted person from its own source for his family run.

The benefited person was identified as Masud Mondal, 46, son of Solaiman Mondal of Gurbisha village under Kahaloo upazila of Bogura and he was convicted for a murder case before 24 years ago and after facing his punishment, he became free from the jail on October 10, instant.

Masud Mondal said that he was convicted by a court of Bogura on August 21, 2005 for a muder case and fined at Tk. 50 thousand and more jail for 3 months if unpaid the money.

DC of Bogura marked his bad condition while he visited Bogura jail recently and assured him to rehabilitate him after setting free from the jail.

During the donation of the battery-run auto-rickshaw, Deputy Director of District Social Service Office, Bogura Abu Sayeed Md. Kawsar Rahman, Jail Super Anower Hossain and Probation Officer of the district social service office Abu Saleh Nur were present in the location.
